Peter John

Mr John is an economist and financial modeller. After studying financial economics at the Universities of Oxford and London, UK, he started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers’in the economics consulting department. After three years, he moved to the British government’s economics service. Subsequently, he became a freelance economic consultant. He has undertaken important financial modelling assignments for high-profile clients including Eurotunnel, the governments of the UK and Brazil and various regulated utilities.

Mr John has had three years’ experience in the financial valuation of intellectual property. He has valued patents in the chemical, medical care, and information technology industries. He is familiar with the methods used to value patents in litigation, including the cost, and discounted cashflow methodologies. In addition to English, Mr John speaks French and German.
